Taste of San Francisco in NY . . .

Stacey Paris, one of our remote Breakawayans got a reminder of what it was like to live in San Francisco yesterday … when the earthquake hit on the Ontario/Quebec border.

“Go figure – we felt it right here in Fairport, NY. I felt the room here shake and my desk was moving and I couldn’t’ for the life of me figure out what it was. Thought a really big truck must have rolled by, after all who would think, earthquake in the same sentence as western NY. Though I feel the reaction in this story from those not used to their building shaking might be similar to what some southern towns have when an inch of snow falls.”

Don’t worry Stacey; your earthquake preparedness kit is on its way!
